Job summary

MOS Mining Consultancy is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join our technical consulting team. This hands-on role focuses on site support across Australia, with secondment-style assignments across reputable clients.

You will cover planning, production, infrastructure and project engineering, operate on FIFO/DIDO rosters, and may have offshore assignments. We value problem-solving, safety, and delivering real outcomes on site.

Qualifications

• Technically competent and able to step into a variety of site-based roles with minimal ramp-up time.
• Independent and self-directed with no need for supervision.
• Client-oriented with focus on practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Experience with mining project planning and operations.
• Proficient with Deswik CAD and Deswik Sched.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on site support across Australia via secondments.
• Contribute to planning, production, infrastructure and project engineering.
• Adapt to short-, medium-, and strategic mine planning.
• Deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions for clients.
