Job summary

Whitehaven Coal at Blackwater Mine is seeking an experienced Construction Projects Lead to guide a portfolio of construction initiatives from concept through handover. You will lead Project Supervisors, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure work is completed safely, on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Superintendent Projects, you will drive planning, procurement, construction execution and risk management across concurrent projects, delivering high quality results

Qualifications

• Extensive mining industry experience.
• Proven leadership of project teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of construction management methodologies.
• Experience delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Project Supervisors across site construction.
• Oversee delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
• Provide governance and risk management for projects.
• Drive contractor performance and safety outcomes.
• Support capital works program delivery.
