About the Role

Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Mine Geologist to join our team at Paulsens. This role will see you lead, coach and mentor while maintaining focus on ensuring maximum ore grade from underground operations is delivered to our Processing Plant.

This is a permanent, full time opportunity located at Paulsens Underground on an 15:13 roster ex Perth, Broome or Darwin.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and mentor the geology team to develop capability and career growth
• Oversee drilling, ensuring data accuracy, validation, and integration into geological databases and models
• Maintain and continuously improve resource and grade control models, ensuring quality control to optimise ore extraction
• Support operational performance through production reporting, reconciliation (mine-to-mill), and timely end-of-month reporting
• Plan and evaluate drilling programs to sustain and grow resources in line with strategy and budget
• Provide geological input into mine planning and LOM activities.

About You

• 2 + years experience as a Senior Mine Geologist
• Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related discipline
• Proven experience in UG gold mining operations, with strong grade control and reconciliation expertise
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior geologists
• Proficient in industry-standard 3D modelling and geology software (e.g. Deswik, , Leapfrog, Acquire)
• Strong knowledge of QAQC processes, sampling, geological mapping, reporting, and mining systems and methods.
