Job summary

Sellanes Farasat Immigration in Parramatta is seeking an experienced Australian Registered Migration Agent to join our team. You will manage a varied immigration caseload and provide strategic, commercially practical migration advice to corporate and individual clients, with autonomy to run matters from intake to lodgement.

You will be supported by paralegals and administrative staff, manage sponsorships (Subclasses 482, 186, 494, 407) and labour agreements, and contribute to building strong

Qualifications

• Hold current OMARA registration as an Australian Registered Migration Agent.
• Minimum three years of substantive Australian immigration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian migration law, policy and procedures.
• Experience managing visa applications independently from start to finish.
• Excellent written English and professional correspondence.
• Confident communication with corporate clients, employers and government departments.
• High attention to detail and ability to identify eligibility and evidentiary issues.
• Excellent organisation, time-management and file-management skills.
• Professional, ethical and accountable for work quality.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines without compromising client service.
• Maintain current registration and comply with OMARA obligations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations and assess clients’ immigration circumstances and visa options.
• Provide clear, accurate and practical migration advice.
• Manage visa, nomination and sponsorship matters from assessment to lodgement and finalisation.
• Prepare and review applications, submissions, statements and supporting docs.
• Assist with employer-sponsored matters (Subclass 482, 186, 494, 407).
• Support labour agreements and permanent residence pathways.
• Advise corporate clients on sponsorship obligations and workforce planning.
• Identify eligibility, evidentiary and procedural risks early.
• Respond to requests for further information and natural justice correspondence.
• Liaise with Department of Home Affairs, applicants and stakeholders.
• Review work by paralegals and provide constructive guidance.
• Maintain accurate file notes, deadlines and case-management information.
