Job summary

LAB3 is a leading Azure engineering practitioner in the Australasia region. We are seeking a Principal Consultant to shape, design, and deliver enterprise Microsoft security solutions across cloud, hybrid, and identity platforms.

You will act as a trusted security advisor to clients, guiding security maturity and secure transformation. This role combines deep technical execution with client engagement, workshops, threat modelling, and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in delivering enterprise Microsoft security solutions across cloud, hybrid, and identity platforms.
• Strong client engagement and advisory capabilities at senior levels.
• Experience leading security engagements from architecture through delivery and handover.
• Hands-on or hands-on-leadership involvement with Microsoft security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft security engagements, owning technical direction and outcomes.
• Architect and deploy Microsoft Sentinel environments with data onboarding and SOAR.
• Provide architectural leadership across Defender XDR across endpoints, identity, and cloud apps.
• Design hybrid and cloud identity security architectures including Zero Trust and passwordless options.
• Embed security controls into IaC/CI-CD pipelines and drive SecOps practices.
• Lead workshops and security roadmap engagements for senior stakeholders.
