Job summary

Gateway Search is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to lead design, migration, and ongoing management of enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions. This is a fully remote role across Australia, requiring deep expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams, with emphasis on security, compliance, and automation.

You will guide architecture decisions, mentor teams, and drive user adoption while delivering robust, scalable M365 implementations for large organisations.

Qualifications

10+ years in IT infrastructure with enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 experience.
At least 5 years focused on Microsoft 365 environments.
Hands-on expertise with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102) or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead design, migration, and ongoing management of enterprise M365 solutions.
Implement security policies and zero-trust architecture using Purview and Defender.
Provide technical leadership and automate processes to improve platform performance.
Collaborate with IT teams across Australia in a fully remote setup.
