Based in Greater Sydney on-site, you will publish independent research, including thematic industry notes and production/earnings analyses, engaging with global clients and the equity sales/trading team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience, strong financial modeling and statement analysis, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in financial statement analysis.
• Excellent communication abilities; experience with institutional investors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead coverage of the Australian gold sector as Vice President, Metals & Mining Equity Analyst.
• Formulate and publish independent investment research, including thematic notes and production/earnings analysis.
• Engage with equity sales/trading teams, institutional clients, and company management; manage client relationships.
• Ensure research products comply with internal policies and regulatory standards; build and maintain detailed financial models.
