Job summary
RBC in Sydney is seeking an Equity Research Associate to support its Metals & Mining Equity Research team. You will assist the lead analyst with financial modelling, industry research, and publication-ready reports, gaining exposure toward lead analyst responsibilities within 3-5 years, depending on performance and experience.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a finance-focused discipline and/or technical field.
- Minimum 2 years' full-time experience in equity research, funds management, corporate finance, or mining.
- Demonstrated interest in equity markets and financial analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with polished presentation abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead analyst with projects including company initiations and deep dive reports.
- Build and maintain company and commodity financial models.
- Develop and curate industry and commodity databases.
- Produce publication-ready equity research reports and presentations.
- Respond to institutional investor inquiries with timely analysis.
