Job summary

Talison Lithium is seeking a Metallurgical Supervisor to lead a team of plant metallurgists across multiple processing facilities, ensuring products are produced to specification, safely and efficiently. You will report to the Metallurgical Superintendent and drive performance improvements while mentoring your team.

The role demands strong leadership, a background in metallurgy, and a proven track record of meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum five years' experience in a metallurgical role.
• Proven ability to achieve production targets in a processing environment.
• Strong understanding of mineralogy and metallurgical processes.
• Experience analysing sampling and production data.
• Sound knowledge of risk management, safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

About the Role

Reporting to the Metallurgical Superintendent, the successful candidate will manage a team of plant metallurgists providing support to multiple lithium processing facilities to ensure products are produced within specification, safely and efficiently, while achieving agreed production targets. This role is responsible for optimising plant performance, improving operational efficiencies and providing leadership and development to the metallurgical team.

This position is offered on an 8:6 roster, working 10-hour shifts, with camp accommodation available in our newly established facilities for drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) candidates.

Responsibilities include:
