Job summary

Talison Lithium's Greenbushes Lithium Operation in Western Australia seeks safety-focused, reliable individuals to monitor and record plant processes, collect routine samples, and maintain high housekeeping standards.

The role also involves adjusting process parameters, carrying out inspections, and preparing reports, with a 12-hour shift pattern: four days, four nights, then eight days off.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in process/plant operations.
• Knowledge of isolations procedures.
• Experience with permit-to-work systems.
• Familiar with SAP maintenance modules.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report plant abnormalities such as wear, overflowing, spillage from pipes.
• Monitor plant densities, pH, dose rates, grades and adjust in line with metallurgist inspections.
• Sample preparation and delivery to laboratory for testing.
• Ensure correct flows of ore, water, chemicals, slurry and other services by monitoring and inspecting all process equipment and instruments.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of the plant.
• Maintain detailed reports of operations each shift.

About The Role

We are seeking safety-focused, reliable, and adaptable individuals who bring a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and recording plant processes, collecting routine samples, maintaining high housekeeping standards, and making necessary adjustments to ensure product quality remains on target. You will also carry out workplace inspections and apply effective problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise. This opportunity offers an attractive roster of 12-hour shifts, working 4 days, 4 nights, followed by 8 days off.

About The Candidate

• Good problem-solving skills;


• Must be a team player and support all others on site;


• Demonstrated experience in Process/plant operations;


• Proven knowledge and practical applicaion of Isolations procedures;


• Experience in permit-to-work systems, including isssuing and/or working under permits;


• Experience in submitting notifications within maintenance or operational systems;


• Working knowledge of SAP systems (e.g. raising notifications/Maintenance requests or work orders);


• Ability to follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with site procedures. and


• Basic computer skills.
