About the Role

We are looking for independent, safety aware, detail orientated and positive individuals who are willing to learn with a can-do attitude to join the processing team in the role of a permanent full-time Metallurgical Technician. Whether you have previous process experience or not, Talison Lithium will provide extensive on the job training for the right applicant. It is an excellent opportunity to learn all facets of metallurgical test work and expand your current knowledge.

The primary responsibilities of a Metallurgical Technician include collecting and analysing plant samples, conducting test work in the metallurgical lab, assisting with plant surveys and research projects, collating test work result and, reporting to the Metallurgical Technician Team Lead.

About the Candidate:

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

• the legal right to live and work in Australia;
• a willingness to contribute toward the success of your team while supporting a positive team culture;
• reside or be prepared to relocate to within 60 minutes’ drive of the Greenbushes Lithium Operation; and
• a proactive, collaborative approach and commitment to safety.
