Talison Lithium is seeking a Senior Exploration Project Geologist to join the Mining team at Greenbushes. You will oversee exploration programs, lead drilling initiatives, and ensure high-quality geological data is collected and managed across the tenements.

Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, you will mentor geologists and contractors while driving compliant and safety-focused exploration activities at one of the world’s largest hard rock lithium operations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Geology.
• Current C class manual driver's license.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in exploration or mining geology.
• Proven experience delivering exploration and drilling programs and generating high-quality geological data.
• Strong understanding of geological interpretation, resource drilling and QAQC practices.
• Knowledge of the JORC Code (2012).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to mentor and build relationships.
• Experience with Leapfrog and GIS software will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor responsibilities for drilling and test rigs on the minesite.
• Lead and oversee exploration programs and resource development drilling programs across the Greenbushes tenements.
• Ensure collection, validation and management of high-quality geological and drilling data.
• Conduct geological logging, sampling, mapping and interpretation to support resource growth opportunities.
• Mentor and supervise Exploration Geologists, Field Assistants and contractors.
• Drive safe, environmentally responsible and compliant exploration activities.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Exploration Project Geologist to join our Mining team at Greenbushes, home to one of the world's largest hard rock lithium operations. Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, you will fill the role of S26 Statutory Supervisor for all drilling and test rigs operating on Site. In addition you will lead and coordinate exploration and resource development programs that support resource growth and strategic mine planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong geologist to take ownership of exploration activities, mentor developing team members and contribute to the ongoing success of a globally significant mining operation.
