Job summary

Mai-Wel Limited is seeking a dedicated Senior Mentor to support parents with children under six across the Upper Hunter region. The role blends case management, coaching and advocacy to help families navigate barriers and progress toward greater independence.

You will work across multiple sites, travel regionally, and develop tailored action plans while reviewing progress and building partnerships with employers and community organisations to create opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in a field connected to parent pathways (e.g., Social Work, Community Services, Counselling, Employment Services, Children's Services, Youth Work).
• Experience delivering person-centred support and case management in employment or community services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred mentoring, coaching and case management to help parents achieve education, employment and personal goals.
• Support parents to overcome barriers by linking to community, employment and support services.
• Develop tailored action plans, conduct regular reviews and monitor progress.
• Promote the Parent Pathways Program and engage with local communities across the Upper Hunter region.
• Build partnerships with employers, stakeholders and community organisations to create opportunities and referral pathways.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to compliance, quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
