Job summary

Goulburn Valley Health in Victoria is seeking a Senior Mental Health Nurse to lead professional development for the mental health workforce. You will collaborate with the Mental Health Director of Nursing to evaluate existing service models and implement evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and reporting mandatory training, and supporting undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs, while fostering family- and client-centered care within GV Health’s

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA-registered RN with mental health post-graduate qualifications.
• Experience in mental health care service delivery across programs and ages.
• Experience in policy and guideline development and implementation, incl. MH&W Act 2022 (Victoria).
• Strong leadership, communication, supervision and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership, supervision and support for the mental health workforce.
• Plan, coordinate, and report activities related to mental health nursing professional development programs.
• Collaborate with the Mental Health Director of Nursing to evaluate and develop service models in line with evidence-based practice.
