Latrobe Regional Health invites applications for a Nurse Practitioner to lead advanced clinical assessments and interventions within the East Gippsland Mental Health and Wellbeing Local in Bairnsdale. This role offers permanency as part-time or full-time with a strong focus on recovery and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Endorsed Nurse Practitioner by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Division 1 Registered Nurse with post graduate qualification in mental health nursing.
• Masters level Nurse Practitioner qualifications (or equivalent as per AHPRA).
• At least 5 years’ experience in a senior nursing role.
• Knowledge of FVISS, CISS and MARAM legislation relevant to family violence practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary service delivery framework.
• Advanced leadership skills and ability to lead a team.
• Research and quality improvement involvement.

Responsabilités

• Conduct specialist assessments and nursing care in individual and group interventions.
• Provide quality clinical care including medication management.
• Participate in admission and discharge with clinical risk screening and care planning.
• Contribute to and implement care plans with Clinical Lead.
• Order and monitor tests and investigations within guidelines.
• Evaluate client progress and report risks and outcomes.
• Provide leadership in delivery and coordination of care across the service.
