Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Lead for a major mining operation in North West Queensland. The role focuses on front-end loading, project development and delivery of mechanical capital projects, across the full lifecycle.

You will lead mechanical projects from early planning through execution, providing technical input while managing scope, cost, schedule and risk, working with operations, maintenance and contractors to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical capital projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong background in mining, resources or heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical capital projects through concept, feasibility, front-end loading, design and execution.
• Provide mechanical engineering expertise across project development and delivery.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules and execution strategies.
• Work closely with operations, maintenance, engineering and contractors.
