Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is delivering a major hyperscale data centre project in Melbourne, seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Hydraulic Services to own the hydraulic and plumbing works. You will lead specialist subcontractors from procurement through testing, commissioning and handover, collaborating with MEP teams and senior management to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
Proven experience delivering hydraulic and plumbing on major projects.
Strong knowledge of potable water, drainage, stormwater and trade waste systems.
Experience managing specialist subcontractors and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and drive hydraulic subcontractor performance, resource planning and programme execution to achieve milestones.
Direct and coordinate installation of potable water, hot water, drainage and sanitary systems.
Manage hydraulic interfaces with civil, mechanical, electrical and BMS trades for seamless integration.
Review and approve technical submissions, shop drawings, RFIs and design changes.
Plan, oversee and execute testing, commissioning and defect rectification, including pressure testing and system validation.
Deliver hydraulic works through approvals, certification and handover documentation.
