Job summary

AECOM Australia Perth is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design within our Water Infrastructure team. You will deliver complex water and wastewater projects and provide design advice, reviews and approvals to ensure delivery excellence.

You'll work on national and international assignments, mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across Australia and New Zealand, with on-site flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering essential; CPEng highly regarded.
• Mechanical design experience in water and/or wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of applicable design codes and standards.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering multidisciplinary solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical designs as part of the water infrastructure team across Australia and NZ.
• Provide mechanical engineering design advice, reviews and approvals to ensure delivery excellence.
• Work on major national and international water infrastructure projects (water/wastewater plants, desalination, pumps, pipelines, dams).
• Mentor emerging engineers and collaborate with interstate/international offices.
