Hysata is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Manufacturing team, owning the design, build and improvement of tooling, fixtures and equipment that scale our in-house manufacturing.

You will bridge lab-scale concepts to high-volume production, working hands-on on the factory floor and in CAD. A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment will fit well, collaborating with Design, Assembly and Process teams.

Formación

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or similar field.
• Strong background in mechanical design with hands-on capability to build, modify and commission what you design.
• Proficiency in NX CAD.
• Fabrication experience—hands-on R&D, design, build and test.
• Contributed to delivering complex projects requiring new tooling, equipment and process development.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and drives problems to resolution.
• Experience with DFMA/DFMEA, validation testing, materials selection and process technology selection.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the team responsible for design and implementation of in-house tooling to scale manufacturing.
• Design, build and continuously improve in-house tooling, fixtures and equipment for scale manufacturing.
• Take tooling from concept through CAD design, fabrication, build and commissioning on the factory floor.
• Provide hands-on support to manufacturing—troubleshooting and improving equipment to keep production running.
• Collaborate with Design, Assembly and Process teams on cell architectures and processes.
• Meet design requirements through rapid prototyping using 3D printing, machining, laser cutting.
• Work with partners and vendors to define, develop, validate and commission manufacturing tools.
• Define and execute validation plans with the team.
• Participate in data reviews for data-driven learning and continuous improvement.
• Develop SOPs and safety protocols for new tools and processes.
