Job summary

Hysata in Port Kembla, NSW, is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist for our in-house workshop to support prototypes and early production parts for our groundbreaking electrolyser technology. You’ll join a smart, driven team solving engineering challenges and advancing clean energy.

Bring 5+ years as a machinist, hands-on experience with CNC VMC mills, water jet and laser cutting, plus proficiency in Fusion 360 for jigs and CAM setups.

Qualifications

5+ years as a machinist in prototyping/jobbing environments.
Relevant trade qualifications.
Clear and open communication.
Strong organisational and data-management skills.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Analyse components for manufacture and select optimal approach for quality and timely production using CNC VMC Mills, water jet and laser cutter, 3D printers and other machinery.
Use Autodesk Fusion to design and model jigs, fixtures and CAM setups for CAM programs; maintain meticulous programming.
