Job summary

JDN Monocrane Pty Ltd in Melbourne’s south east is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Engineering team. You will work with a team of engineers to produce high quality designs and documentation, and perform end of life inspections across multiple projects.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, Engineers Australia registration eligibility, strong design skills, initiative, attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree is mandatory.
• Eligibility to be registered with Engineers Australia is mandatory.
• High level practical design skills required.
• Strong initiative and willingness to learn.
• Positive, proactive work ethic and high attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to long-term employment.
• At least 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality designs and associated documentation.
• Perform end of life inspections across projects.
• Interface with production, service and sales departments.
• Manage time across multiple projects with strong prioritisation.
• Provide technical support across the engineering team.
