Job summary

JDN MONOCRANE is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer‑Control to lead design, drafting, PLC/HMI programming and QA governance. Based at our Victorian Head Office in Dandenong South, you will work on power and control system projects with access to in-house test facilities and cross‑functional teams.

You will manage a skilled electrical engineering team, source advanced technologies, and ensure safety and documentation standards across national projects, with a competitive salary package on offer.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Proven experience in power and control design.
• PLC and HMI programming skills expected.
• Familiar with AS3000/AS1418 standards.
• Experience with VSD parametrization and networks.
• Strong supplier management and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and drafting activities for control systems.
• Develop PLC and HMI programs and maintain QA documentation.
• Oversee R&D documentation and test facilities usage.
• Collaborate with Production, Mechanical, Service teams.
• Source new technologies and manage supplier relationships.
