Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years' mining/minerals processing experience, preferably across gold and copper.
• Strong technical background with ability to review and guide design outputs.
• Excellent communication and collaborative approach.
• Attention to detail and ability to juggle priorities.
• Experience with greenfield and brownfield environments.
• Familiarity with Australian and international codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations for minerals processing plants — flotation, carbon-in-leach circuits, pumping systems, and conveyors.
• Deliver complete engineering packages: datasheets, equipment specifications, layout development, and drawing reviews.
• Applying sound engineering theory and practice to solve real-world project challenges.
• Leveraging your bulk solids handling and conveyor design expertise.
• Managing multiple concurrent projects with autonomy and ownership.
• Getting involved on-site to support construction and commissioning when required.
