BEC Engineering in Perth (WA) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead engineering projects in the mining and mineral processing sectors. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate design reviews, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in project management of mining or mineral processing related industries.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
Solid financial management skills including budgeting and cost control.
Proven track record in client and vendor management.

Responsibilities

Manage engineering, project, commissioning or installation teams to deliver projects according to schedule, budget and scope.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (electrical, structural, civil, controls, etc.), comprising internal personnel and external subcontractors.
Facilitate design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
Oversee quality control throughout project life cycle to ensure compliance to project objectives and deliverables.
Managing liaison and collaboration with clients, engineering teams, subcontractors and vendors.
Financial responsibilities including monitoring actual vs. budget, invoicing and procurement.
