Primero Group in Osborne Park, WA seeks a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead minerals processing design across projects. You will provide engineering advice to design teams and ensure compliance with procedures.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 15+ years' minerals processing design experience, with Chartered Professional Engineer as a desirable credential. Based at our Perth head office, you will work with a skilled team on multi-site projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of minerals processing design experience.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of project design products with the Design Procedure.
• Ensure design products comply with applicable legislation, standards, client, third party and project requirements.
• Ensure design products are delivered in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
• Provide advice and expertise to the design progress, issues, holds, change, risk, and deliverables register.
• Ensure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects, including, cost, constructability, operability, and maintainability.
