Job summary

CPC Engineering, Perth, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to manage engineering projects end-to-end from concept to delivery. You’ll collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Specialists, and clients to meet performance, cost, schedule, and safety goals.

You will guide design execution, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with standards. This role is based in our Perth office with a strong focus on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• 7 years of relevant experience in project engineering or technical project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
• Excellent package management skills.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of projects
• Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, budgets, and technical documentation
• Liaise between engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams
• Conduct site inspections, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on status, challenges, and metrics
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements
• Support procurement activities, including vendor selection, RFIs, and material submittals
• Manage change orders, project documentation, and closeout procedures
• Manage NPI design scope and package management
