Job summary

Lycopodium Limited in Melbourne seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our design team. You will produce robust mechanical designs aligned with project requirements, review drawings for compliance, and coordinate with drafting and vendors to ensure accurate deliverables.

The role requires EPCM experience on mineral processing plants, strong communication, and registration with NER and Victorian RPEV. A high level of detail, time management, and client interfacing are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Demonstrated EPCM experience on Mineral Processing Plants or similar capital projects.
• Current National Engineering Register (NER) and Victorian Registered Professional Engineer (RPEV) with BLA.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce proficient design outputs aligned with Project and Study requirements.
• Maintain output quality from discipline teams to ensure accuracy.
• Review Project mechanical drawings for compliance with design intent.
• Liaise with drafting team for drawing deliverables preparation.
• Develop technical documentation and identify scope variations.
• Review vendor documentation and relay information to interface personnel.
• Keep up-to-date with industry codes, standards and engineering matters.
• Support team members to ensure timely project deliverables.
