Morson Edge (Australia) seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Leader to join their Perth Buildings team. This senior role focuses on healthcare, hospital and data centre projects, with exposure to mission-critical environments and strong client-facing responsibilities.

You will lead mechanical design teams, manage multiple projects, and provide technical leadership across HVAC and building services, ensuring first-class design outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior mechanical design expertise for buildings projects including healthcare and data centres.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills are required.
• Experience leading multi-project design teams from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design teams on hospital, healthcare and data centre projects.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently from concept through to delivery.
• Provide technical leadership across building services, HVAC and services integration.
• Collaborate with clients, project teams and contractors to deliver high-quality design outcomes.
• Oversee design delivery, reviews, governance and coordination.
• Mentor and develop engineers and designers within the team.
• Contribute to project strategy, risk management and value engineering.
• Support business development in Health and Data Centre sectors.
