You will support studies from concept through to execution, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, review equipment specs, and oversee construction handover to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of mining/resources project experience across study, design and execution phases
• Experience in bulk materials handling equipment and systems

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for bulk materials handling systems and mining infrastructure across projects.
• Contribute to engineering studies, concept development, feasibility studies, and detailed design.
• Support design and specification of bulk materials handling equipment (conveyors, transfer chutes, feeders, crushers, screens).
• Review mechanical drawings and specs for compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of mechanical systems.
• Lead engineering designers to deliver layouts, drawings and construction documentation.
• Participate in design reviews, hazard and risk assessments to resolve issues.
• Assist with equipment selection, supplier documentation and procurement activities.
• Support equipment layouts and mechanical systems for greenfield mineral processing plants and mining infrastructure projects.
• Provide input on equipment sizing, material flow, maintainability and safety.
