Job summary

WorkPac – Technical Professional seeks an accomplished Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver bulk materials handling systems, mineral processing plants, and mine infrastructure. The role targets senior professionals with 10+ years in major resources projects across study, design and execution phases.

You will support concepts, feasibility studies, detailed design, vendor reviews, and multidisciplinary integration while helping drive project delivery through construction and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience in bulk materials handling equipment and systems within mining environments.
• Capability to lead designers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience on greenfield mineral processing or mining infrastructure projects is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for bulk materials handling systems and mining infrastructure across projects.
• Contribute to studies, concept development, feasibility studies, and detailed design.
• Assist with equipment sizing, layout, and procurement activities for mechanical packages.
• Review drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with process, structural, civil, electrical and instrumentation teams for integration.
• Support construction, commissioning and project handover where required.
