Job summary

Peter Warren Automotive Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Senior Technician to join our Mazda and Hyundai workshop in NSW.

You will deliver high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs across both brands, while guiding and mentoring less-experienced technicians and contributing to workshop performance. Ideal candidates will have a relevant automotive trade qualification, extensive hands-on diagnostic skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with Service Advisors and the broader dealership

Qualifications

• Automotive trade qualification and significant technician experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic capabilities.
• Advanced fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor and support less experienced Technicians.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• Mazda/Hyundai or Japanese/Korean vehicle experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and complex diagnostics.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Completing repairs to manufacturer standards and specifications.
• Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and identifying additional repairs.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to fellow Technicians.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Maintaining accurate job cards and service documentation.
• Working efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets.
• Supporting a safe, clean and professional workshop environment.
• Collaborating with Service Advisors and the wider dealership team.

About the Role

As a Senior Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs across our Mazda and Hyundai vehicles, while supporting workshop performance and developing less experienced technicians.
