Job summary

Northern Beaches Council is seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Officer Contractor to lead integrated campaigns across a diverse portfolio of services. The role combines creativity with strategic thinking, content creation and stakeholder engagement to inform and engage the community.

The role is a 12-month, full-time contract (35 hours/week) with a salary range of 96,309.15 to 111,927.21 per annum plus super, depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience planning, producing and delivering video content.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content and campaigns.
• At least 5 years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated campaigns from planning through delivery and evaluation.
• Provide strategic communications advice to other teams.
• Plan and create content across Council owned and paid channels.
• Write and edit engaging materials for a range of audiences including news, website, social media and email content.
• Lead planning and production of video content with stakeholders and partners.
• Coordinate photography and design collateral.
• Deliver email marketing campaigns and use analytics to optimise performance.
• Support incident and emergency communications when required.
