Job summary

Northern Beaches Council is seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Officer Contractor to lead integrated campaigns and deliver high-impact communications across council services. This 12-month contract combines strategic guidance with hands-on delivery, including content creation, video production and stakeholder engagement.

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience planning, producing and delivering video.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear content.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated campaigns from planning to delivery and evaluation.
• Provide strategic communications advice to teams.
• Plan and create content across Council channels.
• Produce video content with stakeholders and partners.
• Manage email marketing campaigns and analyse performance.
• Support incident and emergency communications when required.
