You will lead analysis and modelling of wholesale trading positions, evaluate trends and scenarios, and advise on actions to improve profitability and manage risk.

The role reports to the Wholesale team and involves developing performance reporting for senior management and delivering insights to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, economics, maths, engineering, or data science.
• Strong modelling and analytics experience in energy markets.
• Advanced data handling and quantitative techniques required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Wholesale market modelling and evaluate impacts of trends and scenarios.
• Analyse drivers of operating performance and market outcomes.
• Calibrate base case and scenarios for market models.
• Coordinate with Finance and Thermal Generation for planning inputs.
• Develop reports and dashboards for senior management insights.
