Perth-based role with international exposure. The role emphasizes collaboration, mentoring, and development across energy projects, including storage, renewable integration, and grid planning.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in a discipline such as engineering, mathematics, economics, physics, or computer science.
• Solid understanding of electricity market concepts, including regulatory frameworks, energy market operations, impact of constraints and frequency markets.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey meaningful insights to clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Execute and deliver a broad range of market modelling projects.
• Provide evidence-based insights to enable informed decision making for clients.
• Support development of client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
• Engage in projects like electricity network planning, grid-scale storage, and market forecasting.
• Contribute to policy and market design discussions with clients and regulators.
