Job summary

Anduril Industries in Australia seeks an Account Director - Maritime to lead customer engagement for the Dive-XL program. You will be a senior voice representing the customer within the product organisation, interfacing with the Royal Australian Navy, NSSG, and Commonwealth entities to shape capability requirements and ensure aligned commitments.

Qualifications

• Extensive RAN warfare experience with a demonstrated operational record at sea.
• Experience within a capability manager, force design, or requirements role, including developing and defending a capability requirement through the Defence process.
• Established network across Navy, Defence and Australian undersea enterprise with senior relationships.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to software engineers and flag officers.
• Allied exchange, coalition operations, or overseas posting experience.
• Working knowledge of the ASDEFCON environment and Commonwealth market approaches.
• Technical depth to discuss autonomy, mission systems, payloads, and undersea employment concepts.
• Commercial judgement to shape scope and investment and understand funded programs.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, approx. 30%.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NV2 security clearance; TSPV desirable.

Responsibilities

• Commonwealth Relationships: Contribute to engagement with RAN, NSSG, and Commonwealth departments that shape, sponsor, and fund the program.
• Engagement Rhythm: Maintain disciplined cadence of briefings, capability forums, working groups and demonstrations.
• Voice of the Customer: Act as the principal channel between customer and Anduril, conveying intent internally and externally.
• Employment Concepts: Contribute to development of employment concepts and CONOPS for autonomous undersea capability.
• Operational Need into Product Requirement: Distill analysis and customer intent into clear capability needs for the Dive-XL roadmap.
• Capture Support: Contribute to growth path toward fleet scale and responses to Commonwealth market approaches.
• Alignment to Product Strategy: Ensure contract execution aligns with capability roadmap and address misalignment early.
• Trials and Demonstrations: Support customer engagement around trials and milestone events.
• Global Product Line: Represent Australian customer interests within Dive-XL portfolio and lessons for allied programs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Programs, Contracts, Growth and Communications for a coherent Anduril to the customer.
