Job summary

McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Building & Construction team, supporting project delivery across the Woomera Upper Spencer Gulf Region. This hands-on role offers a balance of metro and regional exposure, delivering maintenance and construction works across defence and commercial sites.

You will manage projects with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality outcomes, with accommodation, LAHA and meal allowances

Qualifications

• Experience in construction project delivery and site coordination.
• Strong contract management and client liaison skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience with MS Project, Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Experience using Procore, Pronto or similar systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and construction projects ranging from minor works through to larger projects
• Scope works, prepare tender letters and support estimating activities
• Lead and manage subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
• Manage procurement, cost control, scheduling and contract administration
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Prepare weekly reports and communicate project updates effectively
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and contractual requirements
• Review and prepare JSAs and risk assessments
