Job summary

Veolia seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial ship docking, repair and maintenance projects for the SeaReady consortium in Henderson. You will bring a strong marine background, quoting work, managing contractors and delivering dockings for tugs and offshore vessels.

Reporting to the Manager, Asset Maintenance and Preservation, you will coordinate SeaReady partners from inspection to undocking and handover, managing scopes, budgets and schedules with a strong focus on safety and

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience managing commercial ship repair, shipyard or dry‑docking projects, preferably involving tugs or offshore vessels.
• Strong technical, commercial and project management capability across ship repair scopes, estimates, cost control and scheduling.
• Demonstrated safety leadership in permit‑to‑work, SIMOPS and critical works.
• Experience leading multi‑trade teams with solid communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect commercial ships, review specs and drawings, agree repair scopes, and prepare estimates with SeaReady partners.
• Develop and control integrated project schedules, contractor resources and procurement; coordinate docking/undocking and handover.
• Manage contractor scopes, variations and claims; ensure repairs meet safety, quality and schedule requirements.
