Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial ship docking, repair and maintenance projects in Henderson, WA. You will coordinate SeaReady consortium partners and contractors from inspection to handover, managing scopes, budgets and schedules with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a marine background, with proven ability to quote work, manage contractors and deliver dockings for tugs, offshore support vessels or similar

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience managing commercial ship repair, shipyard or dry-docking projects.
• Strong technical and commercial project management across ship repair scopes and inspections.
• Experience leading multi-trade teams with safety, scheduling and cost control.
• Knowledge of WHS, maritime requirements and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ships, review specs, define repair scopes and prepare estimates with partners.
• Develop and control integrated project schedules and procurement; coordinate docking/undocking with clients and dock operators.
• Manage contractor scopes, budgets, variations and claims; ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.
• Lead safety/compliance activities with risk assessments, permits to work and SIMOPS.
• Keep clients and partners informed of scope, progress, costs and delivery dates.
