Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is seeking a Manager, Priority Populations Programs to lead Women’s Health, Carers and Youth Health initiatives and manage resources to deliver high-quality services that meet KPIs and financial targets.

Based within the Equity and Prevention Service, the role provides strategic advice on Priority Populations and equitable health outcomes, overseeing Women’s and Youth Health Clinical Services and related programs in partnership with key

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Strong leadership to enhance staff performance and lead change.
• Extensive knowledge of priority populations issues.
• High level verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation and customer service.
• Strong analytical and problem solving with ability to provide authoritative advice.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with senior management and stakeholders.
• Experience in planning and evaluation at strategic and service levels within a high volume dynamic environment.
• Current drivers licence with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, lead and manage resources to provide cost effective, quality service meeting KPIs and financial accountabilities for Priority Populations Programs (Women’s Health, Carers and Youth Health).
• Provide high level strategic advice on Priority Populations Programs and equitable health outcomes.
• Manage Women’s and Youth Health Clinical Services and related programs/projects in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate within SESLHD Equity and Prevention Service to address health needs of Priority Populations.
