Job summary

NSW Health in Sydney’s St Leonards area seeks a Senior Manager Priority Monitoring and Analysis to lead epidemiology and evidence work within the Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence. You will guide monitoring of priority programs, oversee complex data analyses, and produce actionable health insights for policy and planning.

The role requires senior leadership, strong data governance, and expertise in biostatistics and epidemiology, with a focus on population health outcomes.

Qualifications

• High level monitoring and reporting skills with experience in health data.
• Experience with real world data and linked datasets.
• Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security.
• Ability to lead development and delivery of a transformational program.
• Epidemiology and biostatistical analysis to improve health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide methodological leadership to monitor priority programs and policies.
• Manage and lead a team to analyse health data and linked datasets.
• Turn complex data into timely information to inform policy and service planning.
• Advise on indicators for monitoring NSW population health and related reports.
