Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Healthy Families & Communities Branch in NSW. You will coordinate data development, governance, analysis and evaluation activities to inform policy, program and service delivery across the health system.

You'll work with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen data quality, improve reporting and generate insights that support evidence-informed decision making, contributing to statewide health priorities in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in data analytics, governance, and program evaluation.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex information.
• Experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders in complex environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey technical information to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, interpret and translate complex data into meaningful insights to support policy and program improvement.
• Support monitoring and evaluation of health programs and services and refine reporting frameworks.
• Provide advice on data governance and state-wide data collections to ensure consistent reporting.
• Collaborate with Local Health Districts, NGOs and government stakeholders to improve data quality and performance monitoring.
• Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, and documentation to support strategic decision making.
