Job summary

Vision Australia is seeking a strategic Senior Manager Organisational Development, Capability and Workforce Planning to strengthen capability, leadership effectiveness and workforce sustainability across its national organisation. You will partner with senior leaders to shape a capable, engaged, future-ready workforce aligned with our mission to support people who are blind or have low vision.

Qualifications

• Experience leading organisational development, workforce planning, leadership or capability initiatives within a complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of workforce strategy, organisational effectiveness and talent development.
• Experience supporting organisational change and transformation programs.
• Well-developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical capability and the ability to translate insights into practical outcomes.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager Organisational Development, Capability and Workforce Planning to lead initiatives that strengthen organisational capability, leadership effectiveness, workforce sustainability and culture across our national organisation.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will partner with leaders across Vision Australia to shape a capable, engaged and future-ready workforce that enables us to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.

About The Opportunity

As the Senior Manager Organisational Development, Capability and Workforce Planning, you will provide strategic leadership and practical delivery across enterprise-wide people initiatives that strengthen organisational capability and performance.

About You

You are an experienced People and Culture leader with deep expertise in organisational development, workforce planning and capability building. You are commercially minded, strategic in your thinking and able to translate workforce insights into meaningful organisational outcomes.

You will bring:

• Experience leading organisational development, workforce planning, leadership or capability initiatives within a complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of workforce strategy, organisational effectiveness and talent development.
• Experience supporting organisational change and transformation programs.
• Well-developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
