Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Manager to join the Office of the Responsible Entity and strengthen governance, oversight and investor outcomes. You will support the RE Board, provide pragmatic governance guidance, and oversee service providers to ensure regulatory obligations are met.

Qualifications

• Governance, legal or risk experience in financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record advising on compliance, governance or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support the RE Board’s governance obligations and regulatory duties.
• Provide guidance on investment governance practices and fiduciary duties.
• Oversee service providers to ensure obligations are met and conduct test and challenge where needed.
• Advise on ESG integration in investment decision-making, risk management and performance evaluation.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and advocate for investor and unitholder interests.
• Assist in developing governance processes and policies and monitor regulatory changes.
