Colonial First State is seeking a Senior Manager, Adviser Governance to lead third-party adviser onboarding, monitoring and governance oversight from Sydney. The role drives assurance to members, supports Trustee obligations and works with senior stakeholders to implement proportionate remediation.

The position requires deep regulatory knowledge, strong analytical ability and proven influence with executives, while using AI-enabled tools to scale governance processes and improve outcomes.

Formación

• Deep knowledge of financial advice, file compliance and the regulatory framework for third-party oversight.
• Experience in advice governance, AFSL supervision, control environments, incidents and remediation.
• Ability to translate complex findings into practical, defensible recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence executives and governance leaders through credibility and judgement.

Responsabilidades

• Execute the adviser governance strategy for third-party licensees in line with regulatory obligations and risk appetite.
• Lead onboarding, monitoring and review of advisers, interpreting AI findings with supporting evidence.
• Assess significance of issues, potential member detriment and systemic implications.
• Identify root causes and patterns, providing clear insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare decision-ready reporting for senior leaders and boards; escalate where needed.
• Collaborate with Distribution, Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Trustee teams to deliver aligned outcomes.
