Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong investment analytical capability to interpret performance, risk, benchmarks and data.
• Experience in investments environment with exposure to multi-asset portfolios or investment structures.
• Experience in investment research, manager due diligence, portfolio monitoring and turning findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong numerical reasoning and emphasis on data quality, reconciliations, controls and documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication for concise committee or senior-management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, ongoing effectiveness and future evolution of the superannuation investment governance framework.
• Set governance standards, expectations and priorities for investment governance activities across the Super business.
• Act as the senior escalation point for material investment matters, issues and decisions.
• Serve as a lead advisor to the Trustee, Board and Investment Committees on governance matters.
• Lead engagement with regulators and external reviewers, providing assurance on governance outcomes.
• Oversee the quality and consistency of governance reporting to Boards and regulators.
• Coordinate and undertake investment due diligence, synthesising evidence into clear recommendations.
• Lead periodic reviews of investment strategies and lifecycle arrangements with robust market insights.
• Lead governance transformation initiatives and framework uplift, partnering with stakeholders to improve data, reporting and processes.
