Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Accounting and External Reporting to lead month-end and year-end close, prepare statutory financial statements, and manage cash flow, fixed assets, leases and Trust Funds for St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney.

CA/CPA qualified senior finance professional with strong technical accounting skills will oversee revenue, grants and complex accounting matters, strengthen governance and risk management, and lead internal and external audits

Qualifications

CA/CPA qualified with senior financial accounting experience.
Strong technical accounting expertise in complex environments.
Experience leading month-end/year-end reporting, compliance, and audits.
Strategic, analytical leader who develops high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Lead financial accounting and reporting for the hospital, incl. month-end and year-end close.
Provide senior technical accounting leadership across revenue, grants, leases, and other matters.
Strengthen governance, controls, reconciliations, and risk management.
Lead audits and compliance with internal and NSW Health reporting obligations.
Develop the financial accounting team and drive process improvements.
