Job summary

The University of Sydney invites applications for a Senior Manager, Enrolment Services within Student Services in Sydney. The role leads the Enrolment Services team and partners with the Director and senior stakeholders to deliver enrolment services across the student lifecycle.

The successful candidate will drive strategic initiatives, service improvements and foster a high-performing team culture, while guiding workforce planning, performance management, and financial stewardship.

• Full time, fixed term until 31st January 2028
• Lead Enrolment Services and drive improvements that enhance the student experience
• Base Salary $162,528 + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Manager, Enrolment Services to lead the Enrolment Services team within Student Services. Working closely with the Director, Student Services and senior stakeholders, you will lead the effective delivery of enrolment services across the student lifecycle while driving strategic initiatives, service improvements and a positive, high-performing team culture.

Your key responsibilities

• work closely with the Director, Student Services, senior leaders, students and key stakeholders across the University
• lead the Enrolment Services team, aligning workforce and resources to deliver high-quality services
• oversee operational planning and delivery of enrolment services across the student lifecycle
• drive continuous improvement of enrolment systems, processes and services to enhance the student experience
• provide strategic advice and insights on enrolment services, operational performance, risks and opportunities
• build strong stakeholder partnerships to support effective service delivery and strategic initiatives.

About you

• proven senior management experience leading large service delivery teams within a complex organisational environment
• demonstrated experience in student administration or student services, with an understanding of issues impacting the student experience
• demonstrated experience managing client services using ServiceNow or similar service management platforms
• demonstrated capability in workforce planning, people leadership, performance management and resolving complex HR matters
• experience in financial management, resource planning and managing operational priorities and performance
• relevant bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.
