Preacta in Sydney is seeking a Senior Manager, AI Governance to shape how the organisation uses AI safely and responsibly. You will build frameworks, standards and controls that guide AI adoption across the business, partnering with Cyber, Technology Risk and AI leadership.

You will advise executives, assess AI-related risks, and ensure governance and regulatory oversight while enabling continued innovation. This hybrid role offers AUD 200k–220k base plus super and a discretionary bonus.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in cyber security, technology/operational risk or AI governance.
• Knowledge of AI governance, including generative and agentic AI, data security and model governance.
• Experience advising senior leadership and educating teams on responsible AI adoption.

What does AI governance look like when a business is rapidly adopting AI and needs someone to help shape how it's used safely, responsibly and effectively?

We're partnering with a leading Australian financial organisation on the hire of a Senior Manager, AI Governance to help establish and lead their AI governance capability. With AI being adopted across multiple areas of the business, this is an opportunity to build the frameworks, standards and controls that will shape how AI is used across the organisation.

You'll work closely with Cyber, Technology Risk and AI leadership, advising stakeholders on AI adoption, assessing emerging risks and ensuring the business can continue innovating while maintaining appropriate governance and regulatory oversight.

What they're looking for:

Strong experience across Cyber Security, Technology/Operational Risk or AI Governance, ideally within financial services. You'll understand the risks associated with AI, including generative AI, agentic AI, data security, third-party vendors and model governance.

You'll also be a confident stakeholder manager, comfortable advising senior leadership, influencing business decisions and educating teams on responsible AI adoption.
