Job summary

St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is seeking a Manager Aboriginal Cultural Capability to lead a organisation-wide program enhancing Aboriginal cultural safety and inclusion. You will report to the Executive Director First Nations Health and work with the L&D Manager to implement capability initiatives.

You will supervise an Aboriginal Cultural Capability Facilitator, develop and evaluate programs, and build strong partnerships with Aboriginal communities to support culturally informed

Qualifications

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
• Experience leading teams and embedding Aboriginal perspectives.
• Knowledge of government frameworks, policies, and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Aboriginal cultural capability initiatives across the organisation.
• Supervise an Aboriginal Cultural Capability Facilitator and mentor staff.
• Design, deliver, evaluate and report on cultural capability programs.
• Build partnerships with local Aboriginal communities and stakeholders.
• Influence governance, policies and service models to embed Aboriginal perspectives.
• Produce reports, briefs and submissions for senior leadership.
